1) INHIBITION OF CELL WALL SYNTHESIS :


- Bacitracin: It is produced by Bacillus subtilis. Since it is toxic to animal or human cells it cannot be used for systemic chemotherapy. But it is used as skin ointments & is effective against Gram positive bacteria. It also inhibits cell wall synthesis( prevents regeneration of mono phosphate from pyrophosphate).
